Interaction of Audience

Who says TV isnt interactive and is mindless. Detronik implemented a set of interactive actuating devices that permitted the audience to interact and ultimately control the output of visuals at an event called "Dorkwave" this past weekend. The stage was designed like a retro television set with two controllers on the outskirts. Audience could take part in the show by simply using the controls which would cypher the visual output from a digital clip bank. The visuals would then be either retro commercials selling long outdated products, civil defense documentaries, classic how to be a child in the 50's,60's documentaries, and a selection of 4 cameras surrounding the dj/crowd that would link between the occurances behind and in front of the TV Partician.

Detronik hits the streets

Detronik took the streets last year to extend its vision of a mediated surveillance totalitarianism. The visual projection system was retrofitted into a SUV and per Detroniks style of Mercenary style visuals, unsuspecting pedestrians throughout Detroit were no match for the torrent of flashy manipulative visuals. Detronik has carried this message not only in Detroit, but various cities throughout the country.
